A solo exhibition at Leith School of Art, 18th July - 17th September
This body of work initially began as a response to restrictions preventing me from working at my studio. Small drawings of the various objects I have in my home, were what I had to hand. Once restrictions were lifted, I found I was still absorbed by these familiar things around me.
John Berger's observation that a drawing of a tree is actually a drawing of a tree being looked at, chimed with the particular kind of attention I was giving to these ordinary objects, and inspired the title of the exhibition
